Fourth Year Physiotherapy Student
Brittany is currently in her 4th year of a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of Queensland. She also has close to 5 years of experience working in a customer service role. Brittany has completed some physiotherapy work experience with us, and officially joined the Brisbane Headache and Migraine Clinic team in January 2019, as our Saturday receptionist. Brittany is a front of staff representative, who will always greet you and make you comfortable once you arrive.
Roles
Brittany plays a role in administrative duties, ensuring there is a high-quality level of care for all patients, from the moment they interact with us on social media, over the phone, via email to once they walk through our doors.
Brittany is a key contributor in helping to educate not only our patients, but also the wider community on all aspects of physiotherapy conditions, treatment and general health and wellbeing. Regular blog posts on our website, as well as posts to social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter provide us with a way of sharing information on different conditions, as well as simple exercises or pain management strategies to try and help those who are suffering.
Brittany hopes to graduate from her bachelor degree at UQ in November 2020, and continue to pursue a career in physiotherapy. She hopes to employ her caring nature and cheerful personality to help those in the future, and always enjoys the opportunity to learn more about physiotherapy and healthcare.
