Biography

Sascha Halpin is a senior clinician at the Brisbane Headache and Migraine clinic who is known for his enthusiastic approach and genuine care for patients.
Sasch prides himself on being an engaging and authentic communicator who can delve deeply into a patient’s history, concerns and formulate a holistic approach, tailor made for his patients. 
Sasch is an experienced hands on practitioner who combines the Watson Headache approach with his extensive knowledge of exercise prescription and patient education.

Credibility

Sasch has completed two degrees at Griffith University on the Gold Coast of Queensland; the Bachelors degree of Exercise Science and a Masters degree of Physiotherapy. During his studies and research he was granted the Griffith Award for Academic Excellence.
Since then, Sasch has worked and treated a wide range of patients with musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. During this experience Sasch developed a passion for working to mitigate chronic pain, particularly in the field of headaches and migraines. This desire eventuated in Sasch studying the Watson Headache approach and being accomplished as a Level 1 and Level 2 qualified practitioner.

Philosophy

Sascha is a firm believer that optimising a person’s physical health has a large flow-on effect to all aspects of a person’s health and enjoyment of life. He puts special emphasis on communicating with the patient to find out how best to achieve their desired outcomes, and what is most important to achieve with their condition.
Sascha engages thoroughly with his patients to alleviate their condition and improve their quality of life.  This knowledge enables Sasch to practice with skills of the highest standard.

Fun Facts about Sasch

Sasch grew up in the coastal city of Newcastle, before moving north to pursue his studies and career. A passion he has brought with him is his love for the ocean!
On the weekends, you will often find Sasch out beyond the breakers, diving down to coral reefs and exploring the beauty of the sea.
Sasch is also an accomplished photographer, whose portfolio includes underwater photography, astrophotography, portraits and landscapes.
