Bertrand Doeuk
Director
Bertrand has been accredited the “Certified Practitioner” by two internationally recognised manual therapy institutions: Mulligan Concepts and Watson Headache® institute. With these added manual therapy skills, he has been able to help countless patients recover from all forms of acute and chronic headache and migraine conditions.
Mattias McAndrew
Senior Clinician
With a background of exercise prescription, Mattias has also completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (honours) through the University of Queensland, one of the leading schools of physiotherapy in the world, and is a trained Watson Headache® practitioner, a trained Mulligan Concepts Practitioner and is also a Western Acupuncturist.
Ariel Lee
Senior Clinician
Ariel Lee is a Senior Headache Clinician at Brisbane Headache and Migraine Clinic.
She has completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours from The University of Queensland, one of the leading schools of physiotherapy worldwide. Ariel has acquired knowledge and skills in providing evidence-based practice. During her studies, Ariel attended numerous courses to continually improve herself.
Dominic Forsythe
Senior Clinician
Dominic comes to Brisbane Headache and Migraine Clinic after gaining a wide range of experience, both in Australia and New Zealand. After graduating in 2013 from Auckland University of Technology, in New Zealand, he started work as a sports physiotherapist.
This allowed him to learn from expert physiotherapists with both Olympic and professional sports backgrounds. With this work, Dominic was able to travel both domestically and internationally with sports teams. Since then, Dominic has worked in private clinics in Melbourne, where he further developed his clinical assessment and treatment skills. These experiences have led to Dominic developing an interest in headache and migraine treatment.
Associate Clinician
David Appleby is an associate clinician at Brisbane Headache and Migraine clinic.
He has completed two degrees at Griffith University on the Gold Coast of Queensland. He has completed a Bachelors degree of Exercise Science and a Masters degree of Physiotherapy. During his studies and research he was granted the Griffith Award for Academic Excellence. Since then, David has worked and treated a wide range of patients with musculoskeletal disorders. During his career, he has completed several post-graduate courses and has a high passion in the field of headaches and migraines.
Sascha Halpin
Associate Clinician
Sascha Halpin is an associate clinician at Brisbane Headache and Migraine clinic.
During university, he completed two degrees at Griffith University in the Health and Knowledge Precinct on the Gold Coast of Queensland. In that time, he completed a Bachelors degree of Exercise Science and a Masters degree of Physiotherapy. Since then, Sascha has worked and treated a wide range of patients with musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. During his career, he has founded a high passion in the field of headaches and migraines, as well as the mitigation of chronic pain.
Helen Lin
First Impression
Helen has been working in customer service for over 5 years. Helen officially joined the team at Brisbane Headache and Migraine Clinic in October 2019, as our friendly receptionist. Helen is our front of staff representative and you will see her in reception, greeting you as you walk through our doors upon arrival. She will offer you a glass of refreshing water with lemon and make you comfortable before your appointment commences.
Tammy Tang
First Impression
Tammy is currently a 2nd year Physiotherapy Student at the University of Queensland.
She completed her work experience at our clinic and official jointed the Brisbane Headache and Migraine Clinic team in December 2019, as one of our receptioninsts.
Tammy is our front of staff representative, who will always greet you upon your arrival and ensure you have the best possible experience at our clinic.
Lynette Wong
First Impression
Lynette is currently studying physiotherapy at the University of Queensland. She hopes to graduate in November 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy (Honours) and wishes to pursue a career as a physiotherapist.
She completed her work experience at our clinic and officially joined the Brisbane Headache and Migraine Clinic team in February 2020, as one of our receptionists.
Lynette is a front staff representative and will greet you warmly on your arrival.
Mal Imbulpitiya
First Impression
Mal has been working in customer service for over 6 years in Australia, Europe and Sri Lanka. She hopes to graduate in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Honours) in Griffith University while majoring in Economics and International Business (second major) and wishes to continue the career in Business.
Mal has officially joined the team Brisbane Headache and Migraine Clinic in September 2020, as our friendly receptionist.
